✨ …….. faaaark knows — I have no idea.

✨Culturally, the mātauranga (i.e. knowledge, definitely an ancestral transmission but also full of wairua-spirituality so superior to plain-old-science) says ‘Ae’, or Yes Ma’am.

✨Bare feet at dawn on a beach grounds you to Papatūānuku — Mother Earth. ✨Bare foot at dawn on our beaches connects you to Hine-Moana — Mother Ocean.✨Barefoot at dawn on any beach connects you to Tangaroa — brother sea. Always to Ranginui- Sky Father. And as for Tamanuiterā — Big-Boy-Sun rises. Ra’s rise out of the ocean, is transportive, if only for a few minutes. ✨Barefoot on my beach (Rapanui, Sumner, Christchurch — see above) just before dawn is full of ‘the feels’ of He Marama — Moon-māmā and if you are super lucky, maybe you can catch a pinkish Uenuku-Kōpako — Rainbow-dancing-god.

✨On our Taiwhenua — gold or white sands, even when your feet are freezing, you get a special zap of piezoelectricity. Our beach sands are made up of millions of specks, sometimes quite large pops of (mostly) quartz crystals.

✨Sixty- yes sixty or 60% of Papatūānuku is quartz.

Quartz is the greatest activator of vibration. Quartz signals, receives and transmits, augments, stores, amplifies, transfers, transforms and can focus other vibrational frequencies of energy, including sound, electricity and even information in the form of precise periodic pulses.

✨ Well here’s an even cooler practice. It is called a Tai-Karanga. It’s a call. An invocation. You (bare-foot preferably naked, or at least naked under your coat) call to the Atua — elements. You look deep into the rising-healing photonic light of Tamanuiterā (Super-Sun boy). As you look deep out to the horizon, sun-rays fill your Soul, your heart, your field. Tension eases, joy expands. You stand a little taller.

✨You can ask He Marama (Moon Mama) to support you. You may choose to send healing energy out to Universe (and all who need your love, or who you call to love you even more).

✨Ask the Atua, to activate whatever you are seeking to bring forth (World Peace is my fav. but sometimes I might just be asking for some help with my business, or a white shagpile coat to wear to a dancing circle).

✨When you call on a beach, especially on any quartz (Aotearoa) beach, you really are activating at another level. Your bare feet, and maybe nude body are also getting that piezoelectrical zap. Attuning (healing) dis-ease, de-toxing cellular stuckness, and saying “haere-ra” to the odd pathogen, worm or parasite.

✨ This works even more significantly if it’s a new moon (activation) or a full moon (sealing and releasing)!

✨ If you read this before 26 August 2024— FGS get out on the beach before dawn. Karanga-call into the past two solar “Lioness” gates (8 August and 17 August) and beyond.

✨ Why — why not — you will be igniting the Taniwha (Dragon that is 2024). 26 August is the last solar 888 gate. This gate has the flavour of ultra-aware (as opposed to pain in the asse OCD) Virgo. It is the lions-cub sun-gate. 888 is Aroha-Abundance-Activated.

✨ Virgo season and zodiac month = 29.2 days of sweet Virgin aroha-love. You can choose to operate as a vessel of pure consciousness (the Virgin) . You can choose to take a step back and activate dancing piezo-electrical impulses for your special affirmations. Just cos.

✨ I’ve been naked and barefoot on the beach quite a bit this winter. Even at -4 degrees, I’m barefoot. I’m silent before the sunrises and then I will twirl (anti-clockwise of course), dance, tone or chatter with a darling friend. Very few people are up at Dawn, let alone barefoot on the wintery beach. It’s the closest you can get to pure flow. To pure alignment. To pure magic. It’s the closest I’ve got to the stillness pause that comes from a deep meditation. But this is with my eyes open and …. freezing feet. Personally, I reckon this practice beats ice-baths. Personally this beats 15 years of journalling. It’s the best spiritual practice I’ve found and when you get it — please share it!
