From November 22, I'm writing book number two - Super Manifestar - Manifest the Stars in You and sharing it with our members. My book is aimed to De-mystify Astrology because Astrology can reveal your purpose in life. You have a Map of the Sky (all the sky above and below the horizon when you were born). This map can be used to understand yourself if you know how to read it and where to look for the clues. Astrology is way more than the position of the Sun, when you were born, and your gifts and challenges are way more than just the position of the planets, at any given time of the year. Even the Maramataka - or moon cycle, which is so important to Māori, is only going to reveal nature cycles, or emotional themes. You need to understand the whole system and for us in the South, our particular twist, which is totally driven by our view of the stars on the ecliptic, relative to our seasons.

Learning an astrology system and your chart can can reveal all the probable energy you have access to. Learning the system from your place on the Earth (for us in the South this is dominated by the Milky Way, which northerners can't see), can show you how to reclaim your star power and decode your astrology. To learn how the cyles of a year, translate into a path of learning, expansion and continual growth.

Most people don't know anything about their many key astro placements. They think they are just their sun sign. This is why some people disregard astrology as general and meaningless. If you only know your Sun sign (that your share with everyone else born in that month and that Sun sign isn't even true for us in the South, as Aries is Libra, as Spring is really Autumn) that's like saying all Pigs are the Same. We know very well that a Bush pig is definitely note the same as Little Miss Piggy!

Few people know that an astrology map is the whole sky, above and below you at your first breath. Your chart shows your framework of all probable energy - both Universal and Physical. In essence, astrology maps and shows you the flavour of two rivers of Wai-rua (Universal and Physical). When mapped, the reader can choose to use so many influences, to foretell, and hep them way-show, or navigate through their life experience. This second part of becoming the navigator is what interests my community.

Traditional North Hemisphere astrology is hugely popular particularly for young people, and women (30-50% of all people use some form of astrology). Yet, there is no South sky models. We are opposite seasons and 12 hours ahead of the universal starting point for traditional astrology - Greenwich Mean Time. This means we are 'sign-polar' and the birth star map is reversed.

My purpose is to demystify astrology with star-whakapapa, and to help readers unfold the galaxy within themselves, which comes when you can read your own astrology chart.

Much like the Māori navigators map of stars, natal charts are separated into the quadrants above and below the horizon, showing the 12 heavens, or 12 realms of life experience and thought consciousness.

Super Manifestar will fuse indigenous star-lore (whakapapa whetu) with a branch of ancient Greek astrology (from the time when Ptolemy mapped the heavens) recasting this to make sense for our Pacific people down under.
